Lent Me A Hand: Friday 3

Entree | March 25, 2011 | By

Good evening!

What a day! So run-around and busy! I’m a little late this evening (unless you’re on the West coast) to give you this week’s dinner idea. I hope you were all good today! 🙂

Today’s dish was inspired by someone mentioning a sword to me – so I thought swordfish! And what’s better than a thick delicious grilled swordfish steak!

It’s easy to prepare. We’re going to make it really simple – salt, pepper, minced garlic, and extra virgin olive oil is all you’ll need besides a nice fresh swordfish steak. That’s it! Combine spices, garlic, and oil to make a loose “paste” and rub both sides of the steak with it. Then toss it on a hot grill or in a heated stove-top grill pan! Go about 5 minutes on a medium high flame and you’re ready to go. Add a side of steamed asparagus, fresh salad, crusty bread, bottle of prosecco (may as well be festive), and you have sailed through another Friday of Lent without the thought of meat or feeling hungry or deprived.

Enjoy!!!!
